Johnny ran a bar inside a bar, a backroom with a vibe all its own. Mondays were jam nights and I hosted them for a few months. I remember they were good times, but not a whole lot else. My favourite drink at the time was a black Russian and I enjoyed many. The place was smoky, because you could still smoke cigarettes inside back then. There was a pool table, TV, a few tables and chairs and enough room for a few musicians to gather around a guitar amp and some microphones and make crazy music into the wee hours.
